<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />EXHIBIT 1 <br /> <br />Descriprion of the Southern Water Supply Project <br />Morgan Pipeline <br /> <br />Tne Southern Water Supply Project - Morgan Pipeline (the "Pipeline~) consists of <br />approximately 41 miles of 26-inch diameter and 24-inch diameter pressurized, buried <br />steel pipeline and various valve and vent facilities. The Pipeline will convey water from <br />the already completed Forr LuptonlHudson Pipeline, which connects to the Carter Lake to <br />Broomfield Pipeline. <br /> <br />The route, which is illustrated on the attached map, begins two miles east of Platteville at <br />the intersection of Weld County Roads 30 and 31. The route proceeds e:J.St for <br />approximately 41 miles to the site of the City of Forr Morgan's new water tre=ent <br />plant. located southwest of the Town of Wiggins. <br /> <br />The Pipeline will also include various appurtenant facilities. Some of the significant <br />appurrenances include a combination metering and pressure reduction station at the <br />be::;inning of the Pipeline, four isolation valves along the route, and a flow control station <br />located near the terminus of the Pipeline. Other facilities such as air-vacuum/air release <br />valves and blow-off valves will be provided along the length of the Pipeline. <br />
