C-153467; FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR THE REHABILITATION <br />AND ENLARGEMENT OF TWIN LAKES DAM <br /> <br />Dear Mr. McDonald: <br /> <br />The City of Greeley is herewith transmitting the feasibility study <br />report for the rehabilitation and enlargement of Twin Lakes Dam. This <br />study and report was jointly funded by the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board and the City of Greeley. The feasibility study was done as a <br />part of the City of Greeley's application to the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board to obtain financing for one-half (1/2) the <br />construction cost for the rehabilitation and enlargement of Twin Lakes <br />Dam. <br /> <br />The attached report has been prepared in accordance with the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board requirements governing the content <br />and format of feasibility reports. All required documents have been <br />included in the report with the exception of the resolution by the <br />City of Greeley City Council which formally requests financing <br />from the Colorado Water Conservation Board Construction Fund for the <br />rehabilitation and enlargement of Twin Lakes Dam. Because of the <br />Council's meeting schedule, it will be impossible for the City Council <br />to consider the resolution prior to their January 6, 1987 meeting. <br />The resolution will be forwarded to your office immediately following <br />passage of the resolution by the Council. <br /> <br />A letter from the Estes-Poudre Ranger District of the United <br />States Forest Service is contained in Appendix E of the feasibility <br />study report. This letter indicates the Forest Service is aware of <br />the potential project and stipulates that the project must meet the <br />conditions of the City's permit for the dam and reservoir. <br /> <br />The City has no contractual obligations or committment to the <br />Colorado Division of Wildlife. Because the City of Greeley is <br />claiming neither fishing nor wildlife benefits associated with the <br />rehabilitation and enlargement of Twin Lakes Dam, and because there )---- <br /> <br />
