land CTwnership

As shown by Map D of this report,

, approximately 65%

of all land w.i thin the proposed water district boundary, not including

streets. alleyways and public land, is 0wned by Rico Argentine }ti.ning

Company. All easements that the tOloJll has and needs on its 'Water

facili ties are granted by Rico Argentine. Rico Argent.ine is the sole

user' of the town's supply of industrial water mth its service line

just 1,200 feet below the town's intake iacili ty.
Since Rico Argentine owns a majority of J.andsin and around Rico,
it would stand to benefit the most iran anew water system should any

development occur in the town. 'If a water district were formed, Rico

Argentine could be taxed proportionally to benefit received through

a !ld.ll levy.
The letter in Appendix H of this report mentions an eacement

agreement for existing and future water facilities. It would be mutually

beneficial to the Town and to Rico Argentine to formulate a contractual

agreement of formal easement dedication by Rico Argentine for considera-

tion of a supply of industrial water by Rico.
