PROJECT'MAP <br /> <br />The project map should schem~tically illustrate the proposed <br /> <br />project and show the location of the basic existing and proposed <br /> <br />project features with respect to lource of water supply, lands to <br /> <br /> <br />be served, and nearest towns or cities., It may frequently be found <br /> <br />desirable to combine the service area map required in Chapter III, <br /> <br />Land, ~ith the project map. In s~ch cases, it is usually prefer- <br /> <br />able to use different colors to d~note irrigable lands to be served <br /> <br />by the project and to distinguish between existing and proposed <br /> <br />facilities. <br /> <br />B. LOCATION <br /> <br />Give the county, distance anJ directions from the nearest <br /> <br />major city, and approximate elevation of project. <br /> <br />C. CLIMATE <br /> <br />1.) Give information regard~ng average monthly temperatures, <br /> <br />maximum and minimum tem~eratures of record, length of <br /> <br />r <br /> <br />frost-free period, and ~verage monthly precipitation. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />2.)
