� t �. r. . <br />� <br />\ <br />� required by the Small Reclamation Project Act of 1956, as amended, accompanied <br />'� by 'a payment of $5,000, setting forth a plan, estimated cost and repayment <br />schedule in detail; and <br />WHEREAS, the estimated total cost of the proposed pro�ect is <br />$16,137,000, of which $3,635,000 is to be financed by a Federal loan, <br />$3,402,000 by a Federal grant, $2,500,000 by contributions from the District, <br />and $6,600,000 by a Colorado Water Conservation Fund loan. The project will <br />consist of construction of a dam, reservoir, and related facilities for serving <br />irrigation and municipal and industrial water needs, hydroelectric power genera- <br />tion, recreation, fish and wildlife; and <br />WHERLAS, the proposal of the pistrict has been reviewed by the <br />Governor of the State of Colorado who fc�und the plan to be financially feasible <br />and recommended its approval; and <br />WHEREAS, the District has reqUested that a portion of the funds to <br />accomplish the proposed work be made av9ilable pursuant to the Small Reclamation <br />Projects Act of Augus[ 6, 1956, as amended; and <br />WHEREAS, the Secretary has found the proposal to be fivancially <br />feasible, has determined that it constitutes a reasonable risk uuder the <br />provisions of the Small Reclamation Projects Act of 1956, as ameaded, and has <br />approved the proposal and transmitted to ihe Congress of the Unired States on <br />April 28, 1987, the aforesaid findings and approval. <br />NOW, 2HEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and dependent covenants <br />herein contained, it is agreed by and between the parties hereto as follows: <br />2 <br />
