Subject: Agreement for Consulting Engineering Services

In accordance with your request and pursuant to our recent dis-
cussions with you, R. W. Beck and Associates (Consulting Engineer) is
pleased to submit herein an Agreement to furnish Consulting Engineering
Services to the City of Manitou Springs (City) in respect to a study of
the Manitou Springs Water System.

In the per'formance of the services as outlined in the Agreement,
the Consulting Engineer shall work closely with the authorized representa-
tive of the City, and, as required, with the City's legal counsel and financial
advisors. The Consulting Engineer shall also maintain close liaison, as
appropriate, with the Colorado ,'fater Conservation Board, which has agreed
to part;cipate in the fumling of the cost of the study pursuant to the 1971
Ame:1dment of A:cticle 1 of Chapter 149 C. R. S. 1963.

All studies, reports and other services which are requested by
you and payment for the services of the Consulting Engineer shall be in
accordance with the details in the attached Parts I, II and III which, to-
gether with your acce,ptance, shall, constit'.;!te fIle whole Agreement.
