Enclosed is our proposal for the Fuchs Dam Rehabilitation Study ba,ed
upon your request. The proposal was prepared according to the application
for aSSi$~2nCe by Fuchs Ranches, Inc. to the Colorado Hater Conservatior.
Board {C~CSjJ and the eWeB guidelines for feasibility reports.

On~ of the most important aspects of the study will be the hydrology
of the basin as related to the hazard rating. Hydro-Triad, Ltd. has pre-
vicusly ;,erfonned a t.ydrology study assuming a 10\'1 hazard rating of the
struc::;re. However, the U.S. Forest Service has given the structure a high
hazard rcti~j with a moderate hazard rnting for the spillway. The State
Enginee;"'ls Dffice has also concurred in the modf:rat.e hazard r'atill9 for
spilh;;y design flows. Therefore, additional hydrology relating to the
moder~te h2zard rating is needed.

We ePereciate the opportunity to offer our services to the CWCB and
Fuchs Rc.nches, Inc. and will look forward to beginning the study. He ant i-
cipate the duration of the project study to be about 8 weeks, 1100;ovor, if
a shorter time frame is desired, we ltlOuld be wi"lling to discuss the
scheduling.
