WHEREAS. rC4uired appwv..i. clearance and coordination oas been accomplished from and wilh OIpproprialc

WHEREAS. a contract was entered into on July 15. 19B1,
between the State and the Contractor (hereinafter the "original
contractU) for the Blue River Water District project; and

WHEREAS, the state desires to extend the time of completion
of the project; and

WHEREAS. parag~aph A.2. of the original contract provides
for extension of time if such time "is insufficient because of
circumstances beyo~d the control of the Contractor; and

WHEREAS, the contractor could not complete the second phase
of the project bec~use of lack of matching funds: and

WHEREAS. the contractor is now ready to proceed with the
second phase of thls project; and

WHEREAS.

WHEREAS, the State has approved the submitted contract
documents; and

WHEREAS, the Contractor has sufficient matChing funds to
match the State moneys. .

NOW THEREFORE. it is hereby agreed that:

1. This contract amendment is supplementsl to the original
contract (EXhibit A). which is by this reference incorporated
and made part hereof. All terms, conditions, and provisions of
the original contract unless specifically"amended herein shall
remain in full force and effect.

2. The original contract shall be amended as follows:

a. In paragraph A.2., third line, st:cike "two (2)" and
insert in lieu thereof llten (10\.

b. In paragr~ph A.5.. insert nine ne~ paragraphs which
will read as folfows:
