The dam will <br />be raised to provide for a normal stage elevation of 12 feet <br />above the existing wetwell which will provide 1400 acre-feet <br />of storage. <br />The estimated cost of the entire project for this <br />alternative is $954,000. The North Poudre Irrigation <br />Company would like to borrow fifty percent (50%) of this or <br />$477,000 from the Colorado Water Conservation Board at five <br />percent (5%) interest for a forty (40) year loan period. <br />The North poudre Irrigation Company can finance their <br />fifty percent (50%) con~ribution by maintaining their <br />current level of assessment of $100.00 per share through <br />1989. The repayment of the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board loan can be accomplis~ed out of the assessments at the <br />rate of $2.78 per share or 2.78% of the current assessment. <br /> <br />ix <br />
