SUMMIT RESERVOIR AND
IRRIGATION COMPNfY RESOLUTION

Whereas; the Summit Reservoir and Irrigation Company owns and operates
the Summit Reservoir as a facility to provide irrigation water to about
4,000 acres of privately owned land,

Whereas; Summit Reservoir is in need of improvements to assure the safety
of the structure with said improvements to assure the accompanying
feasibility report,

Whereas; the total cost to construct the improvements is estimated as
$70,000,

Whereas; the Summit Reservoir and Irrigation Company can fund one half
of the cost through $10,000.00 of existing reserves and a 'loan of $25,000
from the Wichita State Bank,

Be it resolved; the Board of Directors requests that the Colorado Water
Conservation Board advance the Summit Reservoir and Irrigation Company
on~ ,half of the construction costs, $35,000, to be repaid over 40 years
with a service charge of 5% per year, The Summit Board also requests'
that the funds, if approved, be available on or about July 1, 1984.
