Th~ conversion of irrigated land to municipal uses is occur-
ring in the area but not to a l~rge extent. There are no
population centers adjacent to ~he area so the pressure to
subdivide .is low. Most of the Illunicipal development is around
Summit Reservoir or immediately adjacent to Highway 184, so .
development does not have a significant impact on the irrigated
land. .

Tab].e III-A.
Summit Reservoir ond Irrigation Company
Typical Crop Yields Per Acre

. .Irrigat.ed
Crop.

Typical
Yield

Hayland.
Grain
pinto Beans
Wheat
Pasture

2.9 tons

11 Cwt
50 BU.1
7 AUM

1 . The largest share~
holder has 26 shares and the smallest is a half a share. There
are several half share owners. The shares are not evenly distri~
buted over the 4000 acres of irrigated land. Some shareholders
have more water per acre than others.. All of the land served by
Summit is in private ownership. . .

-11-
