Raoid Creek Reservoir ~

1, Uostream Slooe~ Riprap is irregular or missing
and a scarp haS formed on the upstream slope
from wave action. This slope is rated "poor".

2. Crest. The crest has poor surface drainage and
some ruts; the crest was rated "acceptable".

3. Downstream Slone. The slope 'appears too steep'
and had some depressions and holes. The
steepness is due in part to the fact that a
portion of the slope is built on a rock
retaining wall, The downstream slope was rated
"acceptable" .

4. Seeoage. There appeared to be some seepage at
the toe, but it could not be determined if it
was coming through the embankment. Seepage was
rated as "acceptable".

5. Outlet Works. The outlet works is in very poor
condition and needs to be replaced entirely, due
to collapsed and deteriorated pipes and
inoperative upstream slide gate. It was rated
"poor" .

6. Soillwav. This had some erosion, but otherwise
appeared to be okay. It was rated "acceptable".

Rapid Creek ReservoLL ~

1. upstream Slooe. This had some wave erosion with
scarps. Some aOditional riprap is needed. This
slope was rated as "acceptable".

2, Crest. No major problems.

3. Downstream Sloo~ Report indicated that the
slope appears too steep. There was livestock
aamage, some erosion and gullies, and possible
slides. There were also holes under rocks,
probably from marmots. This slope was rated as
"poor".

4. Seeoaqe. Boggy areas were noted belOW the
reservoir, thouqh it was not known if these were
coming through the reservoir embankment. The
seepage was rated "acceptable".

5. Outlet. The main outlet appeared to be
operating properly. The abandoned outlet is
