All
that will abe required is the appropriate permits and nominal
royalty fees.

d. Structure plans. (1) & (2) are not applicable, as the
only structures anticipated ~,e the gate and gate lift
structure. The conduit will discharge into a 60 x 75 foot
forebay (existing) and so there is no need for an outlet
structure.

e. Drainage. Not applicable

f. Sedimentation. As noted ill 5.L5, sedimentation poses
little or no problem. The inflow area of the reservoir has
been functioning for 82 years, and no appreciable
sedimentation is detectable. No sediment in 82 years should
preclude further discussion.

g. Right-of-way. The dam and reservoir are not being
enlarged, nor are other changes planned, so no additional
right-of-way will be required. It probably should be noted
that the reservoir pre-dates the Forest Service by 2 or 3
years, so none should be required anyway.

7.CHAPTER .Y.h ESTIMATED COSTS
a. Costs of construction.
(1) It is presumed that one of 6 or 7 local smaller
constactors will be the successful bidder. All of them own,
orhave access to, a high speed ~craper, at least 1 D-8 Cat, a
water truck and sheeps-foot roller. The drilling and
shooting of the 726 c.y. of riprap will probably be sub-
contracted to one of two local drilling and blasting
contractors.

With all necessary equipment being locally available (25 mile
radius), I have not included mobilization costs in the
estimate. The unit costs also include profit and overhead
for the contractor's bid estimates.

(2) through (7) Estimate of construction costs. -Next page-

8
