<br /> <br />OlUllBUlCIl NO. .lll65. <br />SllaIBS 1992 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Louisville <br />and its citizens that the City develop a Raw Water Master Plan <br />prepared and directed to the problem and for the purpose of <br />satisfying the City's raw water needs in supplying water in the <br />City; and <br /> <br />WHERI!lAS, the state of Colorado, Department of Natural <br />Resources, Water Conservation Board, is willing and lawfully <br />authorized to provide certain financial assistance through a loan <br />to the city in the preparation of the Raw Water Master Plan; and <br /> <br />WBERI!lAS, in accordance with COlorado Constitution, Article XI, <br />Section 6 and C.R.S. S31-1S-302, no election is required to approve <br />the loan provided pursuant to the Contract. <br /> <br />NOW, THBRI!lPORl!l, BB IT OlUlAINBD BY TBB CITY COUNCIL OP TlIB CITY <br />OP LOUISVILLB, COLORADO: <br /> <br />SectioD 1. The City council hereby approves the Raw Water <br />Master Plan Contract ("Contract") between the City of Louisville <br />and the state of Colorado, Department of Natural Resources, <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board, a copy of which is attached <br />hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. The funds <br />received by the city pursuant to the Contract shall be used solely <br />for the purposes described in the Contract, which is a valid <br />municipal project. <br /> <br />SectioD 2. <br />pledged to repay <br />City. <br /> <br />The full faith and credit of the city is hereby <br />the Contract loan in the event of default by the <br /> <br />SectioD <br />indebtedness <br />discharged. <br /> <br />SectioD 4. The Mayor is hereby directed to. execute the <br />Contract on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />3.
