The City will furnish the Consultant with one copy of the f9S~)f~ter vt-r::;'.bution Plan
Update (a copy of the data therefrom, showing land use and ~.'~~~ted &r use projections, is
attached hereto). This report will be used to determine the Ci~xisting (1990) treated water
demands; the ultimate treated water demands; and a mid-point treated water demand. City operating
staff wiU provide conveyance and storage losses and appropriate storage volumes, where these are
known, for Louisville, Harper, & Marshall reservoirs, the Louisville Pipeline, the Community Ditch,
and the Louisville Lateral. Availability and seasons of use will be identified by the City along with
any additional physical and operational constraints of these facilities. In addition, the City will
furnish the Consultant with one copy of its Water Resources Accounting Software for its exclusive
use in the data acquisition for this project. Where information on the above data is not available, the
City and CDM will agree upon appropriate storage and conveyance losses and constraints, and how to
deal with both. The Consultant shall use all of the above information to determine the City's ultimate
raw water demands, physical system constraints and capabilities.
SCOPE OF WORK

1.0 DATA ACOUISlTION

The City will furnish the Consultant with a summary of its treated water demands by month for the
last 10 full calendar years and the estimated population served at the mid-point of each of those years.
These records will show the total flow and the quantity of water used each month, and will be used to
develop normal monthly water use hydrographs.

The Consultant will collect monthly flow data for the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) gaging station
at Eldorado Springs for the period of record. Additionally, where available, the Consultant will
collect electronic ditch diversions for the period 1950-1985 (or later if available) from t!J.e Office of
the State Engineer for the following ditches on S. Boulder Creek and Boulder Creek: Howard, Dry
Creek No.2, Cottonwood No.2, McGinn, Enterprise, East Boulder, Marshallville, Goodhue,
Davidson, Jones and Donnelly, Community, Andrews & Farwell, Leyner Cottonwood, Lewis H.
Davidson, Coal Ridge, and Marshall Reservoir.
