<br />ORDlnNCE NO. ...l1lll <br />SERIES 1992 <br /> <br />AN ORDlnNCE AUTHORIZING THB CITY OF LOUISVILLE, <br />COLORADO, TO BNTBR INTO A RAW WATBR MASTBR PLAN CONTRACT <br />WITH THB STATE OF COLORADO, DBPARTHENT OF NATURAL <br />RESOURCBS, COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD <br /> <br />WHBRBAB, it is in the best interests of the City of Louisville <br />and its citizens that the City develop a Raw Water Master Plan <br />prepared and directed to the problem and for the purpose of <br />satisfying the City's raw water needs in supplying water in the <br />city; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the state of Colorado, Department of Natural <br />Resources, Water Conservation Board, is willing and lawfully <br />authorized to provide certain financial assistance through a loan <br />to the City in the preparation of the Raw Water Master Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Colorado Constitution, Article XI, <br />section 6 and C.R.s. ~31-15-302, no election is required to approve <br />the loan provided pursuant to the Contract. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BB IT ORDAINED BY THB CITY COUNCIL OF THB CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLB, COLORADO: <br /> <br />section 1. The city Council hereby approves the Raw Water <br />Master Plan Contract ("Contract") between the City of Louisville <br />and the state .of Colorado, Department of Natural Resources, <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board, a copy of which is attached <br />hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. The funds <br />received by the city pursuant to the Contract shall be used solely <br />for the purposes described in the Contract, which is a valid <br />municipal project. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br />pledged to repay <br />city. <br /> <br />The full faith and credit of the City is hereby <br />the Contract loan in the event of default by the <br /> <br />Section <br />indebtedness <br />discharged. <br /> <br />Section 4. The Mayor is hereby directed to execute the <br />Contract on behalf of the city. <br /> <br />3.
