8.0 GROUND WATER

The Consultant will review available data and published reports available from the USGS and
Colorado State Engineer's office to estimate the quantity of ground water (and, if available, its
quality) that might be developed in the alluvial deposits and the underlying bedrock fonnations in the
S. Boulder Creek and Coal Creek watersheds. Only those formations or areas with an estimated
potential yield from individual wells of more than 350 gallons per minute will be considered as a
potentially feasible element. The analysis will also assess the classification of the tributary on non.
tributary status of these aquifers.

9.0 REPORT

Interim technical memoranda will be provided each month. Three copies of a draft report will be
provided to the City for its review. Comments from the City will be incorporated into the Final
Report and an original with ten copies and appropriate maps, exhibits, tables, computer data disks,
CADD disks, etc. will be provided to the City. A technical memorandum with instructions for
operating the computer model and specifying various options will also be provided along with four
hours of in-house training. A phased approach will be detailed in the Consultant's Work Plan, along
with a schedule for transmitting routine update reports to the City.

10.0 SCHEDULE

After notice to proceed, it is envisioned that a one month period will be required to reach the first
milestone meeting. After agreement on the design drought condition, an additional three months will
be necessary to complete the study as shown on the attached schedule. The technical project team
will be comprised of staff available at contract execution. It will be drawn from the following staff:

Noel Hobbs, P.E. - Project Manager
Joe Stibrich, P.E. - Project Engineer
Tom Charles, P.E. - Water Resources Engineer V
Lisa Buchanan - Water Resources Engineer IV
Jenny Braus - Water Resources Engineer II

A-7

l\l16'-da_..TXT
07\23\91 mlb
