EXHI!lIT A FEASIBILITY REPORT CON AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING This Agreement, made this ~ day of July, 1987, by and between THE SANTA MARIA RESERVOIR COMPANY, a Colorado corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "OWNER" and HYDRO- ~AD, LTD., a Colorado Corpcration, hereinafter referred to as the "ENGINEER". The OWNER intends to evaluate and determine a technical and economically feasible method of controlling or eliminating the seepage at Santa Haria and Continental Dams such that the cur- rent storage hold orders may be removed. This will enable storage to the full decreed storage for both Dams, an increase of nearly. 20,000 acre-feet. This feasibility study may be paid for in part with financial assistance from the Sta~e of Colorado acting through the Colorado Water Conservation Boardr herein- after referred to as "CWCB". The ENGINEER represents that it is a professional engineer- ing firm with the experience and expertise to perform the fea- sibility study in a satiSfactory and timely manner, and agrees to perform all of the various professional engineering services for the feasibility study. NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and promises hetween the parties hereto, it is expressly agreed as follows: SECTION A - ENGINEERING SERVICES The ENGINEER shall fu-~ish engineering services as follows: STUDY M!:THODOLOGY The Santa Haria and Continental DaJIIS rehabilitation feasi- bility study will consist of the following~ajor steps: A. Data collection and coordination The initial phase of the study will consist of the assembly and review of available info=mation needed to adeauatelv assess the project feasibility. This process will L~clude ~~e'follow- ing activities: 1. Review of documents pertaining to the initial con- struction and suhseauent modifications to the embank- ment, outlet works, spillway and related structures.
