I

I

Equipment deliveries such as the vertical turbine pumps and associated
control equipment, will range from 10 to 24 weeks. The associated valves
within the pump station will also involve deliveries of 10 to 24 weeks.

I

D.

Structure Plans

I

Structure plans for the primary pumping station, the associated pump
stations at the storage reservoirs, plans and details of the storage
reservoir and the plan and profile of the 16-inch transmission lines are
included within Appendix C of this report.

I

It should be noted that the details and plans for the first storage reser-
voir have been submitted and approved by the State Engineer.

I

E.

Drainage

I

No unusual storm drainage problems are anticipated. Major drainage courses
will be designed for the 100-year one hour design thunderstorm occurring
during the lawn irrigation season. Runoff will be determined in accord-
ance with the procedures of the U. S. Soil Conservation Service as de-
scribed in the "Design of Small Dams".

I

I

The rolling topography of the area is such that rainfall and/or irrigation
water for the uses planned can readily be disposed of in natural drainage
courses. The service area is divided by a ridge line into two major drain-
age areas. About 170 acres on the west end slopes to the Red Canyon drain-
age course and the remaining acreage slopes toward the northeast corner of
the property then drains northward to the river.

I

I

I

I

I

I

I

I

I

I

v - 4
