In 1999 the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS). <br />Steamboat Springs Otliee. designed a pennanent solution to the problem to restore the natural side <br />slope of the slide area. This SIIO.OOO project included the placement of 400-ft. of 3D-inch <br />diameter heavy wall plastic pipe sccured with ~.inch wire rope anchort--d inlo bedrock. The <br />Contractor. Pcrcision Construction. commcnctxl construction in Scplt..whcr of 2000 and <br />completed the work in November of 2000.
