<br />1 <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />HYDROLOGY <br /> <br />II-ll <br /> <br />o The Mission Viejo Sewage Treatment Plant in Marcy Gulch is <br />discharging effluent to the South Platte a short distance below <br />Chatfield Dam at its ultimate projected capacity of 8 cfs. <br /> <br />o Englewood's municipal water supply is being diverted above Chat- <br />field Dam, rather than at the Petersburg Ditch. <br /> <br />o Englewood/Littleton sewage treatment plant is discharging effluent <br />to the South Platte River at its ultimate projected capacity of 47 <br />cfs. <br /> <br />o Accordingly, 80 percent of the estimated 58 cfs flow in the South <br />Platte River at Bates Avenue (south city limits of Denver) for <br />these low-flow conditions would consist of treated sewage efflu- <br />ent. Less would be available at Union Avenue. <br /> <br />o Other inflows and diversions between Chatfield and the Denver <br />Metro Sewage Treatment Plant are estimated based upon familiarity <br />with the stream system and adjacent urbanized areas. <br /> <br />
