The Tongue Creek basin <br />flows are still limited by the Surface Creek feeder capacity. <br /> <br />This alternative would include the following plan components: <br /> <br />The Cactus Park reservoir with a storage capacity of 19,200 acre- <br />feet (for 90 percent firmness) and an inactive storage of 5,000 <br />acre-feet <br /> <br />The Surface Creek feeder canal as described for Alternative <br /> <br />No.1. <br /> <br />The Cedaredge canal as described for Alternative No. 1. <br /> <br />The Leroux Creek feeder canal used to convey water with a <br />capacity of 1;0 cfs from the Leroux Creek basin to Cactus Park <br />reservoir over a length of 5.3 miles. <br /> <br />o Alternative 3 <br /> <br />In the third alternative, it is proposed to add excess water from the <br />watershed above the Overland Ditch to the Tongue Creek and Leroux <br />Creek basin water supplies, through the enlargement of the Overland <br />Ditch and the Leroux Creek feeder canal. Water from Tongue Creek, <br />Leroux Creek and from the Overland system would be stored in Cactus <br />Park reservoir. <br /> <br />The flows available from the Overland Ditch watershed are limited by <br />the capacities of Leroux Creek feeder canal and the Overland Ditch and <br />are reduced to account for an expected conveyance loss of five percent. <br /> <br />This alternative would include the following plan components: <br /> <br />V-6 <br />
