Gage locations are displayed on Figures
II-I and II-II.

STREAM GAGES IN TONGUE CREEK BASIN
Sq, Miles Years of
No, Stream Upstream Record
09-111112-00 Tongue 197,00 1957 - 1968
09-11135-00 Surface 39,00 1976 - Present
09-11130-00 Surface 27.110 1939 - Present
09-13 78-00 Dirty George 8.30 1958-1966
09-1392-00 Ward 12,20 1958 - 1969
09-11102-00 Kiser 5.35 1958 - 1969
09-11107-00 Cottonwood 2.15 1958-1968
09-111 12-00 Youngs 10.30 1958 - 1969

Using the available data recorded at these gages, the USBR estimated stream flows
for years without readings at each gage from 19111 to 1966, and added the
streamflow values together to obtain the total inflow entering the upper basin for
those years, The consultant continued reconstructing streamflow data for the
years with missing records as shown on Figure Ill-I after 1966 through 19811 using
Gage 11130 for correlation, the only gage in the basin not substantially affected
with irrigation diversions and with continuous record. This was done to obtain total
available flows for the period of 1111 years from 1911 I through 19811 in the portion of
the Tongue Creek Basin under study, Analyses are described in more detail in
Appendix A, pages A-3 and A-II.

IlI-3
