Negotiate with Reclamation a cooperative agreement <br />to commence January 1. 1987. which agreement will <br />provide for the Contractor to be compensated and <br />reimbursed for such continuing costs and expenses <br />as it may incur in wo:rking further with" <br />Reclamation to finalize and execute the <br />aforementioned contract(s). to implement changes <br />in its bookkeeping and accounting procedures. if <br />necessary. and to carry out such other activities <br />preliminary to the execution of the aforementioned <br />contract(s) as may be necessary. <br /> <br />2. Comoensation and Reimbursement for Costs. The State <br />shall compensate and reimburse the Contractor for all <br />costs and expenses actually paid O~ incu~~ed by it in <br />the performance of the tasks described in paragraph 1. <br />above up to a total amount not exceeding"$3S.000.00. <br />The Contractor shall be Obligated to perform said tasks <br />only to the extent that funding is available fo~ the <br />same pursuant to this contract and that the said <br />Federal funds are made available to the State fo~ the <br />purposes of this contract. "It is agreed that the costs <br />and expenses fo~ which the Contractor shall be <br />compensated and ~eimbursed shall include all items <br />listed below. such costs and expenses to be billed ~o <br />the State at no mo~e than the following rates and <br />subject to the following limits: <br /> <br />a.
