Box Q, Fort Collins, Colorado hereinafter referred to as the contractor, 1975.., by and between the Natur~l Resources and 1\ssociates, 80522 WHEREAS, lmthority exists in the Law and Funds have been budgeted, appropriated :md othenvise made uvnil:ihle and a sufficient uncncllll1l,ered bal:lIlce thereof remains avaihlble for payment in Fund Number 100 I , G/L Account Number 51957 , Contract Encumbrance NumberC/t/.16L1-3 : and WHEREAS, required approval, clearance alld~coordillation has been accomplished from and with appropriate ngencies: and WHEREAS,'J pursuant to the provisions of 149....1-22, Colorado Revised statutes 1963, as amended, the Colorado Water Conservation Board is authorized to construct certain water projects for the benefit of the people of the state of Coloradoi and WHEREAS, the Morgan County Quality Water Association has'rnade application to the colorado Water Conservation Board for the construc- tion of a water project for the purpose of supplying municipal water to the inhabitants of the areas served by the applicant; and WHEREAS, the Contractor is a professional engineering firm within the State of ColoradO, and has previously done considerable wate~- related work for the Morgan County Quality Water Association and various other municipalities and irrigation companies in Coloradoi and WHEREAS, the total cost of preparing a feasibility report for the project is estimated at $13,663, of which amount $6,863 has been Or will be paid by the Morgan County Quality Water Association and $6,800 will be paid ~y the State as hereinafter set forth. Thirty (30) copies of the report called for in this contract shall be furnished to the State not later than April 15, 1975, unless such time is extended by mutual agreement of the parties hereto. 3. As compensation for the services of the Contractor, the State agrees to pay to the Contractor the sum of Six Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($6,800) in the manner following: a. sixty percent (6~~), to wit, Four Thousand Eighty_ Dollars ($4,080), of the total amount due in two (2) equal monthly installments of Two ~ousand Forty Dollars ($2,040) each, commencing on February 10, 1975.
