A11l <br /> <br />WEST RHONE LATERAL DITCH COMPANY <br />2(0)1027666 M <br /> <br />The undersigned natural persons acting as incorporators of f nojQ.dlll mutual ditch <br />corporation under the Colorado Revised Nonprofit Corporation Act, cStifJIlT:Ai~vOidSJlli6tes <br />(C.R.S.) ~~ 7-122-101 et seq., and the Colorado Ditch and ReservoiB~ .,:~. <br />~~ 7-42-101 et seq., execute and hereby adopt the following Articles of Incorporation for such <br />corporation: <br /> <br />ARTICLE I <br /> <br />Name <br /> <br />The name of the corporation is the West Rhone Lateral Ditch Company. <br /> <br />ARTICLE II <br /> <br />Duration <br /> <br />The corporation shall have perpetual existence. <br /> <br />ARTICLE III <br /> <br />Purooses and Powers <br /> <br />The corporation is organized for the purpose of transacting all lawful business for which <br />corporations may be organized under C.RS. ~~ 7-122-101 et seq. and C.RS. ~~ 7-42-101 et seq. <br />In furtherance of such purposes, the corporation shall have and may exercise all of the rights, powers, <br />and privileges now or hereafter conferred upon such corporations. In addition, it may do everything <br />necessary, suitable or proper for the accomplishment of any ofits corporate purposes. <br /> <br />ARTICLE IV <br /> <br />Description of System and Source of Water <br /> <br />The source from which water will be taken is from headgate number 395 of the Grand Valley <br />Irrigation Company Mainline Canal, which diverts water from the Colorado River near Palisade, <br />Colorado and delivers it to users between Palisade and Mack, Colorado. The water shall be used to <br />irrigate lands owned by members of the corporation, or such other purposes as may hereafter be <br />pennitted by law.
