Overall the improvements for <br />which CWCB funds are presently being allocated for are as follows: <br /> <br />All piping that will be installed within town will be polyvinyl <br />chloride (PVC), SDR 21, unless otherwise indicated. Quantities <br />in general are as follows: <br /> <br />8 inch - 2929 feet, 6 inch - 14,105 feet, 4 inch - 1601 feet, 2 inch - <br />40 feet of galvanized iron pipe (GIP). <br /> <br />The following valving is required within the in-town improvements: <br /> <br />5 - 8 inch gate valves, 55 - 6 inch gate valves, 14 - 4 inch gate <br />valves, 1 -.2 inch gate valve, 1 - 4 inch ball valve, 10 - fire <br />hydrant assemblies. <br /> <br />The required service line connections including appurtenances are: <br /> <br />128 - 3/4 inch service lines, 2 - 1 inch service lines, 1 - l~ inch <br />service line, 5 - 2 inch service lines. <br /> <br />A booster station with a vertical centrifugal pump of 190 gallons per <br />minute capacity with all appurtenances, 1 required. Pressure reducing <br />valves, 3 inch in size complete with vault and appurtenances, 3 are re- <br />quired. Six inch altitude valve complete with vault and appurtenances, <br />1 required. One blow-off valve is required, concrete encasement - 176 L.F. <br /> <br />Surface restoration requirements a~e as follows: <br /> <br />Cold mix asphalt - 18,814 square yards, hot mix asphalt replacement - <br />2680 square yards, gravel and base replacement - 3316 square yards. <br /> <br />Nick, these quantities indicate the gross quantities for the overall in-town <br />improvement program.
