No <br />poultry of any kind shall, be kept upon any lot. Keeping of animals by <br />any property owner shall in all instances comply with the Adams County <br />Zoning Ordinance, except where the covenants contained herein may be <br />more restrictive. Household pets kept for domestic or recreational <br />purposes must be kept within the boundaries of the lot unless <br />accompanied by and under the control of the owner, a member of the <br />owner's family, or a guest of the owner or his family. When not under <br />control of the owner, a member of the owner's family, or a guest of th, <br />owner or his family, any horse or horses must be confined within the <br />corral or stable and/or pasture area. Plans for the corral and stable <br />must be submitted to the Architectural Control Committee of the <br />Association in accordance with Article Three, paragraph A, of this <br />Declaration. Stables must contain one stall space for each horse kept <br />on the lot. All horses or other livestock kept on the lot shall be <br />provided with all necessary supplemental feed within the corral or <br />stable area so that the condition of the irrigated pastures and trees <br />on the areas of the lot outside the corral or stable not become over- <br />grazed and/or unsightly. No swine or goats shall be kept upon any lot. <br />Not more than four (4) major animals (cow, horse, or combination <br />thereof) shall be kept upon any lot. <br /> <br />An exception to the above requirements will be granted to members who <br />have children active in 4H activities provided the animals or poultry <br />are properly cared for and the containment system for the projects are <br />submitted to the Architectural Control Committee as outlined in these <br />protective covenants. <br /> <br />PIt.iU( . ~+". ,'. b <br />La..uf72.
