<br />We, the undersigned, do hereby declare that we are two-thirds of the Jot owners in that
<br />subdivision known as Columbine Ranches Subdivision in the County of Adams, State of
<br />Colorado. We do hereby severally and jointly consent to the following changes in the
<br />Declaration of Protective Covenants of said subdivision by amendment.

<br />Article Three
<br />Covenants and Conditions
<br />
<br />Paragraph B. Land Use and Building Type.
<br />
<br />No building site shall be used except for residential purposes, and each site shall
<br />be limited to one single family residence. No building shall be erected, altered, placed,
<br />or permitted to remain on any site other than for residential or recreational purposes, for
<br />residential or recreational purposes, for a private garage, barn, and other out buildings
<br />incidental to residential use of the premises. No trailer, motor or mobile home, basement,
<br />tent, shack, garage, barn, or other out building erected on a building site covered by
<br />these covenants shall at any time be used for private habitation, temporarily or
<br />permanently, except for a period not to exceed two (2) months, unless approved in writing
<br />by the Association, No lot shall be used for any commercial or business purpuses
<br />whatsoe'.Jer. All roofs shall be covered with Wood Cedar Shake Shingles, Wood-Iifee
<br />CedarShake Shingles, Hybrid Wood FiberShake Shingles, orWood-FiberCementShake
<br />Shingles. R.oofing material selected must look like Cedar Shake Shingles in thickness,
<br />app,=arance, texture and color. No roof shall be covered with an Asphalt based material,
<br />inclUding, but not limited to, Asphalt Shake Shingles, Asphalt-Fiberglass Shingles, or
<br />Fiber!;:lass Shingles,

<br />Detached garages shall conform to the covenants governing single family dwellings. All
<br />other detached structures/out buildings including barns, sheds, or workshops, may be
<br />constructed of metal siding and roofing. However, the color of such siding and roofing
<br />shall be in hallllony with the color of the single family dwelling or an earthtone color, ie,
<br />tan, white, grey or brown. Any outbuilding not constructed of metal, shall confollll to the
<br />covenants governing single family dwellings, including materials use and roofing
<br />restrictions. Outbuildings currently in existence, inCluding detached garages, must bring
<br />their structures in compliance with the above roofing requirements upon replacement of
<br />the roofing material.

<br />All roofing material for single family dwellings and outbuildings must be approved by the
<br />Architectural Control Committee and have a Certificate of Approval from the P resident of
<br />the ~sociation, or in his absence, the Vice P resident of the Association.
