Drive S Curve straightening in <br />Chicago, St. Louis Municipal Dock, and Drydock No. 5 at Mare Island Naval <br />Shipyard in California. <br /> <br />· Highway retaining walls include I-90 in Seattle, 1-77 in West Virginia, and slurry <br />wall underpass projects for 15th Street, 20th Street, and Speer Boulevard in <br />Denver. Mr. Davidson worked on the Mississippi River bridge at Natchez, <br />Zonker St. bridge in San Jose, and Forest City bridge landslide stabilization in <br />South Dakota. <br /> <br />· Waste facilities include BPI Vienna Junction Industrial Park landfill in Toledo, <br />Fresh Kills Landfill in New York, existing gypsum field in Florida, and Vermillion <br />Power Plant fly ash pond in Illinois. Slurry trenches installed in waste facilities <br />include Puente Hills in California, Kerr McGee in New Mexico, railroad <br />derailment in Louisiana, and new Gardinier gypsum field in Florida. <br /> <br />· Mr. Davidson has been active in applied research with in situ testing <br />(pressuremeter, rock dilatometer, cone penetrometer), soil improvement (stone <br />columns, grouting, dynamic compaction), automated instrumentation systems for <br />dams and tunnels, plastic concrete slurry walls, permanent anchors, and deep <br />excavations. He was the responsible professional for the development of the <br />DamSmart geotechnical instrumentation database software.
