<br />, . <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The Instinite shall be responsible for the following activities: <br /> <br />a. Research and literature review of issues pertaining to out-of-basin water <br />transfers, including review of past legislation introduced in the Colorado <br />General Assembly. <br /> <br />b. Preparation of a discussion outline of out-of-basin transfer issues, including but <br />not limited to the issues specifically enumerated in SB 92-87, and preparation <br />of a final report. <br /> <br />c. Attendance at the November 9-10, 1992 and January 20-21, 1993 CWCB <br />meetings and at other meetings to be established. <br /> <br />d. Organizing and participating in such public meetings for discussion of the out- <br />of-basin transfer issues as necessary. <br /> <br />The staff of the Colorado Water Conservation Board and Department of Natural <br />Resources shall be responsible for: <br /> <br />a. Assisting the Institute staff in defining the issues to be addressed in the scoping <br />analysis. <br /> <br />b. Reviewing and co=enting on Institute work products. <br /> <br />c. Presenting, with the assistance of the Institute staff, work products at CWCB <br />and other public meetings. <br /> <br />PROJECT BUDGET <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Compensation for the research, literature review, conduct of the scoping analysis, <br />preparation of the final report and participation in meetings shall be paid for at an <br />hourly rate of $20/hr for Research Associate, up to a maximum total of $8,000 including <br />expenses. Travel, mileage, meals, lodging, postage, copying, fax and telephone will be <br />reimbursed in accordance with normal Department of Natural Resources policy. <br /> <br />Payment shall be made by interagency voucher. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF PROPOSAL <br /> <br />If this proposal is satisfactory please so indicate by signing in the space provided <br />below and returning one copy of this proposal to the INSTITU1E. <br /> <br />2 <br />
