The
quantities were determined by caIculating the earthwork volumes from surveyed cross sections of
the dam provided by Consolidated Consulting Services.

The breakdown of quantities and the estimated urtit prices for each alternative is shown in Tables
5 through 8. The following table provides a summary of the estimated costs for all alternatives
and includes the estimated construction costs, engineering, legal fees, and contingency. The cost
of the temporary breach, the breach investigation, temporary breach design, and interest on project
loans is not included in Table 4,

The cost per acre-foot is based on our analysis of the water storage as outlined on page 5 of this
report. The water storage used for Alternative 2 is 375 acre-feet; for Alternative 3 the storage
used is 800 acre-feet; and for Alternative 4 the storage used is 1600 acre-feet. This is based on
the volumes determined form the survey of the reservoir which was partially full with water to
elevation 8225 feet.

TABLE 4
SUMMARY OF ESTIMATED PROJECT COSTS

ALTERNATIVE ESTIMATED COST PER
PROJECT ACRE-FOOT
COST WATER STORED
1.
