<br />The above flow recommendation \vould require the ewcs to file for a 4.2 cf~ enlargement from
<br />April15lh to ~1ay 31\-1 and a 3.0 cfs enlargement June 1'1 to June 301h. It would also require the
<br />eWCB to modify its' current 1.0 cfs decreed water right (Case No. 5-85CW635) downward
<br />belween September I" through April 14th. After consulting with the CDOW and discussing the
<br />importance of maintaining Colorado River Cutthroat Trout habitat. staff feels it is nOI appropriate
<br />t() modify the eWCB Northwater Creek Instream Flow Water Righi downward al this time.

<br />Precipitalion Data
<br />Staff reviewed local precipitation data sets from 4 different sites localed around the NOl1hwaler
<br />Creek Drainage (see Precipitation Data in Appendix C). These sites include Rangely, Rifle.
<br />Collhran and Meeker (See Figure 3). Table 6 shows the watcr year and the perce III of average
<br />precipitation rccorded at each site.
