I visited that creek on September 1. 1998 with electrofishing gear, Since I was
primarily interested in only presence/absence offish, and since I was by myself. I did not
conduct a population estimate or do a fannal Level 2 stream survey.

But I did recover cutthroat trout, as you saw in the photographs I gave you, I
would guess that I looked at about 50 yards of creek in all. I was mainly focused on
learning to operate my new (at that time) shocking unit. All of the fish netted were small
and looked like one age class. Probably one year old, or possibly two. r think I had
about a dozen fish in hand total

I hope that this meets your needls; let me know ifI can be of further help.

~

Alan Czenkusch
Aquatic Biologist

-_.._...-~......_~-..-_.-

Post-It' fOax: Note
To

1671 Date

ta~s~

from

Co.

Phone #
