<br />. <br /> <br />Table 5 shows a slight variation of precipitation between the two relatively close precipitation <br />sites. It is staffs opinion that the seven years of stream-flow data analyzed is representative of-- <br />average to slightly above average water-years. <br /> <br />Existing Water Right Information <br /> <br />Staff has analyzed the water rights tabulation and consulted with the Division Engineer Office to <br />identify any potential water availability problems. There are several small decreed surface <br />diversion within this reach of stream. Based on this analysis staff has determined that water is <br />available for appropriation on Howard's Fork San Miguel River, from its headwaters to the <br />confluence with the Howard's Fork of the San Miguel River, to preserve the natural environment <br />to a reasonable degree without limiting or foreclosing the exercise of valid existing water rights. <br /> <br />cwes Staff's Instream Flow Recommendation <br />Staff recommends the Board form its intent to appropriate on the following stream reach: <br /> <br />Seament: headwaters to confluence Waterfall Creek <br />Upper Terminus: headwaters at <br />(Latitude: 370 51' 04) (Longitude: 107046' 58") <br />Lower Terminus: Waterfall Creek at <br />(Latitude 370 51' 24") (Longitude 1070 50' OS") <br />Counties: San Miguel <br />Length: 3.1 Miles <br />USGS Quad(s): Ophir <br />.
