N_Q._CX2

The North Clear Creek hydrograph was synthetically derived utilizing the methods
outlined in the USGS Water Resources Investigations Report 85-4086. Based on water
availability, the winter in stream flow recommendation was reduced to I cfs.

SUMMARY

*

The DOW has documented that a natural environment is present in the form of
a cutthroat and brook trout fishery.

*

The DOW has recommended that a flow of 3.5 cfs in the summer and a flow of
I cfs in the winter are necessary to preserve the natural environment to a
reasonable degree.

*

The CWCB staff has conducted a water availability analysis and determined these
amounts are available for the Board's appropriation.

*

The CWCB staff has determined that adequate water supplies exist such that the
natural environment may be preserved without limiting or foreclosing the exercise
of valid existing water rights.

File - c:"-_....wz._'\92_J_.\..,5I~_d_ck.n~
