The legal description of the structure: <br /> <br />The natural stream channel from the confluence with with an <br />unnamed tributary at lat. 39 deg. 53'Ol"N long. l05 deg. <br />36'54"W as the upstream terminus and extending to the con- <br />fluence with with South Boulder Creek at lat. 39 deg. <br />54'08"N long. l05 deg.36'39"W as the downstream terminus, <br />being a distance of apprOximately l.3 miles. This segment <br />can be located on the Nederland U.S.G.S. quadrangle. <br /> <br />For administrative purposes only, the Division Engineer has <br />translated these legal descriptions of the stream termini into <br />approximate protracted section, township, and range locat~on from <br />U.S.G.S. mapping as follows: upstream terminus in the SE/4 sec. <br />l2 T2S R74W 6th P.M.: downstream terminus in the SE/4 sec. 1 T2S <br />R74W 6th P.M. <br /> <br />3. The source of water: <br /> <br />Mammoth Gulch <br /> <br />4. The date of appropriation: <br /> <br />December ll, 1987 <br /> <br />5. The amount of water claimed: <br /> <br />4.0 c.f.s. (April 1 through October 3l): 2.0 c.f.s. <br />(November 1 through March 3l) <br /> <br />6. The use of the water: <br /> <br />To maintain such minimum flows as are required to preserve <br />the natural environment to a reasonable degree pursuant to <br />sections 37-92-l02 and l03, C.R.S. (l973 & 1988 Supp.).
