The legal description of the structure: <br /> <br />The natural stream channel from the confluence with Pine <br />Creek at lat 39deg. 50'31" N long. 105 deg. 34'24" W as <br />the upstream terminus and extending to the confluence with <br />Quartz Valley Gulch in the SW/4 NW/4 sec. 7, T3S, R72W, 6th <br />P.M. as the downstream terminus, -being a distance of <br />approximately 5.5 miles. This segment can be located on <br />the Central City and Blackhawk U.S.G.S. quadrangles. <br /> <br />For administrative purposes only, the Division Engineer has <br />translated these legal descriptions of the stream termini into <br />approximate protracted section, township, and range location from <br />U.S.G.S. mapping as follows: upstream terminus in the SW/4 sec. <br />28, T2S, R73W, 6th P.M. <br /> <br />3. The source of water: <br /> <br />North Clear Creek <br /> <br />4. The date of appropriation: <br /> <br />December 11, 1987 <br /> <br />5. The amount of water claimed: <br /> <br />Instream flow of 1.5 c.f.s. <br /> <br />6. The use of the water: <br /> <br />To maintain such minimum flows as are required to preserve <br />the natural environment to a reasonable degree pursuant to <br />sections 37-92-102 and 103, C.R.S. (1973 & 1987 Supp.).
