The legal description of the structure: <br /> <br />The natural stream channel from the National Park boundary <br />in the NW/4, SW/4, Sec. 6, T5N, R72W, 6th P.M. as the <br />upstream terminus and extending to the confluence with West <br />Creek at latitude 40"26'27" North longitude 105028'57" West <br />as the downstream terminus, being a distance of approxi- <br />mately 2.1 miles. This segment can be located on the Estes <br />Park and Glen Haven U.S.G.S. quadrangles. <br /> <br />For administrative purposes only, the Division Engineer has <br />translated these legal descriptions of the stream termini into <br />approximate protracted section, township, and range location from <br />U.S.G.S. mapping as follows: downstream terminus in the SE/4, <br />Sec. 32, T6N, R72W, 6th P.M. <br /> <br />3. The source of water: <br /> <br />Cow Creek <br /> <br />4. The date of appropriation: <br />November 14, 1989 <br />5. The amount of water claimed: <br /> <br />0.8 c.f.s. (April 1 - October 31); 0.4 c.f.s. (November 1 - <br />March 31) <br /> <br />6. The use of the water: <br /> <br />To maintain such minimum flows as are required to preserve <br />the natural environment to a reasonable degree pursuant to <br />sections 37-92-102 and 103, C.R.S. (1973 & 1989 Supp.). No <br />diversion of the water right herein will be made from the <br />natural stream channel. <br /> <br />7. , Th~ applicant shall install and maintain such measur- <br />ing devices.-and maintain such records as the Division Engineer <br />may requir. for administration of this right. <br /> <br />8.
