The source of the water is: <br /> <br />Boswell Gulch, tributary to the Arkansas River, <br /> <br />4. <br />claimed. <br /> <br />Legal description of the stream segment through which an instream flow is <br /> <br />The natural stream channel from headwaters in the vicinity of latitude 390 <br />01 '36''N and longitude 1060 22'48''W as the upstream terminus and extending <br />to Twin Lakes Reservoir in NE NW, S30, TllS, R80W, 6th PM as the <br />downstream terminus, being a distance of approximately 3.7 miles. This <br />segment can be located on the Mount Elbert and Granite U.S.G.8. quadrangles. <br /> <br />For the stream segments in an unsurveyed area, the Division Engineer has <br />determined for administrative purposes that the approximate legal description of <br />the instream flow termini as protracted from U.S.G.S. and/or U.S.F.S. mapping <br />is as follows: upstream tenninus in the SW SE, S6, Tl2S, R80W, 6th P.M., and <br />at a point 2600 feet from the east section line. <br /> <br />5. Use of the water: <br /> <br />Instream flow to preserve the natural enviromnent to a reasonable degree, <br /> <br />6. Date of initiation of appropriation: <br /> <br />May 11, 1998. <br /> <br />7.
