The source of the water is: <br /> <br />Norman Creek, tributary to the Colorado River. <br /> <br />4. Legal description of the stream segment through which <br />an instream flow is claimed. <br /> <br />The natural stream channel from the conflu- <br />ence of an unnamed tributary at latitude <br />39048'40"N and longitude 106050'05"W <br />as the upstream terminus and extending to the <br />confluence of Catamount Creek in the SW/4, NW/4, <br />Sec. 28, T2S, R84W, 6th P.M. as the downstream <br />terminus, being a distance of approximately <br />3.7 miles. This segment can be located on the <br />Castle Peak U.S.G.S. quadrangles and is <br />depicted on Exhibit A. <br /> <br />For the stream segments in an unsurveyed <br />area, the Division Engineer has determined <br />for administrative purposes that the approxi- <br />mate legal description of the instream flow <br />termini as protracted from U.S.G.S. and/or <br />U.S.F.S. mapping is as follows: upstream <br />terminus in the NE/4 SW/4 NW/4, See 8, T3S, <br />R84W, 6th P.M. <br /> <br />5. Use of the water: <br /> <br />Instream flow to preserve the natural environment to a <br />reasonable degree. <br /> <br />6. Date of initiation of appropriation: <br /> <br />November 6, 1995. <br /> <br />7. The water was first applied to the above beneficial use. <br />on November 6, 1995, by action of the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board under the provision of C.R.S. ~~ 37-92-102(3}, <br />37-92-103 (3), (4), (10). <br /> <br />8. Amount of water claimed (ABSOLUTE): Instream flow of <br />0.75 c.f.s. (April 1 - Aug 31); 0.50 c.f.s. (Sept 1 - Oct 15); <br />0.25 c.f.s.
