4. Legal description of th~ stream segment through which
an instream flow is claimed.

Th~ natural stream channel from the outlet of
Lake Isab~lla at latitude 40"04'lO"N and
Longitude l05"36'52"W as; the upstream termi-
nus and extending to th~ inlet of Long Lake
at latitude 40"04'l2"N and longitude
l05"35'45"W as the downs;tream terminus;, being
a distance of approximately l.l miles. This
segment can be located ~n the Ward U.S.G.S.
quadrangle and is depicted on Exhibit A.

For the stream segments in an unsurveyed
area, the Division Engineer has determined
for administrative purp~ses that the approxi~
mate legal description ~f the instream flow
termini as protracted from U.S.G.S. and/or
U.S.F.S. mapping is as iollows: upstream
terminus in the NW/4 NW/4, Sec. 7, TlN, R73W,
6th P.M.; downstream terminus in the NW/4
NW/4, Sec. 8, TlN, R73W, 6th P.M.

5. Use of the water:

Instream flow to preserVe the natural environment to a
reasonable degree.

6. Date of initiation of appropriation:

July 24, 1995.

7. The water was first applied to the above beneficial use
on July 24, 1995, by action of the Colorado Water conservation
Board under the provision of C.R.S. ~~ 37-92-l02(3),
37-92-l03 (3), (4), (lO) .

THE WATER REFEREE RULES:

The application is granted and a decree (ABSOLUTE) in the
amount of 5.0 c.Ls;. (May 1 - August 31); 2.0 c.Ls. (Sept. 1 -
Sept. 30); l.0 c.Ls. (Oct. l - March 31); 2.0 c.f.s. (April 1 -
April 30) is hereby entered to preserve the natural environment
to a reasonable degree through the upstream and downstream points
