(1) Date of initiation of appropriation: March 14, 1986. <br /> <br />(2) Date water applied to beneficial use: Water was first <br />applied to beneficial use on March 14, 1986, pursuant to S <br />37-9~-103(4), C.R.5. (1973). <br /> <br />(3) Bow appropriation was initiated: Ey applicant's <br />approval of its staff's final recommendations at a regu- <br />larly scheduled meeting, subsequent to having requested and <br />considered recommendations from the Division of Wildlife, <br />and the Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation. <br /> <br />d. Amount of water claimed: <br /> <br />Instream flow of 3.5 c.f.s., absolute. <br /> <br />The above 20 appropriations are made pursuant to the prov~s~ons <br />of SS 37-92-102(3) and 37-92-10~(3), (4), and (10), C.R.S. (1973 <br />and 1985 Supp.), the terms and ~onditions of the Agreements <br />annexed hereto as Exhibits 1-6, and the terms and conditions of <br />the following agreements: <br /> <br />1. Colorado Department of Natural Resources/Keystone <br /> Arapahoe Limited Pattnership. <br /> . <br />2. Colorado Department of Natural Resources/Ereckenridge <br /> Ski Area. <br />3. Colorado Department of Natural Resources/Copper Moun- <br /> tain, Inc. <br /> <br />These agreements and their respective amendments are attached <br />hereto as Exhibits 7, 8, and 9. <br /> <br />The purpose of these appropriations by the State of Colo- <br />rado is to preserve the natural environment to a reasonable <br />degree. The natural environment will be preserved to a reason- <br />able degree by the water available for the appropriations made; <br />there is a natural environment that can be preserved to a reason- <br />able degree with the Board's water rights herein, and such envi- <br />ronment can exist without material injury to water rights. <br /> <br />IT 15 FURTHER ORDERED that the applicant shall install and <br /> <br />-20- <br />
