<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />No. 94CW053 <br />Colorado Water Cons. Board <br /> <br />3. The source of the water is: <br /> <br />Woodfern Creek, tributary to the Rio Grande. <br /> <br />4. Legal description of the stream segment through which <br />,an instream flow is claimed. <br /> <br />The natural stream channel from the headwaters <br />in the vicinity of latitude 37042'16"N and longitude <br />107007'41"W as the upstream terminus and extending to <br />the Woodfern Ditch headgate in the NW/4 NW/4, See 15, <br />T40N, R2W, N.M.P.M. as the downstream terminus, being a <br />distance of approximately 3.3 miles. This segment can <br />be located on the Little Squaw Creek and Workman Creek <br />U.S,G.S. quadrangles. <br /> <br />For the stream segments in an unsurveyed area, the <br />Division Engineer has determined for administrative <br />purposes that the approximate legal description of the <br />instream flow termini as protracted from U.S.G.S. <br />and/or U.S.F,S mapping is as follows: upstream termi- <br />nus in the SE/4 SE/4, Sec. 19, T40N, R2W, N.M.P.M. <br /> <br />5, Use of the water: <br /> <br />Instream flow to preserve the natural environment to a <br />reasonable degree. <br /> <br />6. Date of initiation of appropriation: <br /> <br />March 9, 1994. <br /> <br />7. The water was first applied to the above beneficial use <br />on March 9, 1994, by action of the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board under the provisions of C.R.S. (1990) ~~ 37-92-102(3), <br />37-92-103 (3), (4), and (10), <br /> <br />8, Amount of water claimed (ABSOLUTE): Instream flow of <br />2.25 c.Ls. (May 1 - June 30); 1.25 c,Ls. (July 1 - August 31); <br />0.40 c.Ls. (September 1 - April 15); 1.25 c.Ls. (April 16 - <br />April 30). <br /> <br />THE WATER REFEREE RULES: <br /> <br />The application is granted and a decree (ABSOLUTE) in the <br />amount of 2.25 c.Ls, (May 1 - June 30; 1.25 c.Ls, (July 1 - <br />August 31); 0.40 c.Ls. (September 1 - April 15); 1.25 c.Ls. <br />(April 16 - April 30) is entered to preserve the natural environ- <br /> <br />2 <br />
