The source of the water is: <br /> <br />Saltado Creek, tributary to the San Miguel River. <br /> <br />4. Legal description of the stream segment through which <br />an instream flow is claimed, <br /> <br />The natural stream channel from the confluence of an <br />unnamed tributary in the vicinity of latitude 37057' <br />07"N and longitude 108007'40"W as the upstream terminus <br />and extending to the confluence of the San Miguel River <br />at latitude 38003'38"N and longitude 108009'22"W as the <br />downstream terminus, being a distance of approximately <br />8.3 miles, This segment can be located on the Beaver <br />Park, Little Cone and Gurley Canyon U,S,G,S, quadran- <br />gles. <br /> <br />For the stream segments in an unsurveyed area, the <br />Division Engineer has determined fOr administrative <br />purposes that the approximate legal description of the <br />instream flow termini as protracted from U.S,G,S. <br />and/or U.S,F,S mappins is as follows: upstream termi- <br />nus in the SW/4 SW/4 SW/4, Sec. 30, T43N, R11W, <br />N,M,P,M., approximately 500 feet east of the West <br />Section Line and appr~ximately 150 feet north of the <br />South Section Line; d~wnstream terminus in the NE/4 <br />SE/4 SW/4, Sec. 14, T~4N, R12W, N,M.P,M., approximately <br />1500 feet east of the West section Line and approxi- <br />mately 900 feet north of the South Section Line. <br /> <br />5. Use of the water: <br /> <br />Instream flow to preServe the natural environment to a <br />reasonable degree, <br /> <br />6. Date of initiation of appropriation: <br /> <br />November 9, 1993, <br /> <br />7, The water was first applied to the above beneficial use <br />on November 9, 1993, by action of the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board under the provisions of C.R,S, (1990) 55 37-92-102(3), <br />37 - 9 2 -1 0 3 (3), (4), and (10). <br /> <br />8, Amount of water claimed (ABSOLUTE) Instream flow of <br />2.0 c,f.s (May 1 - June 30); 1.0 c,f.s.
