The source of the water is: <br /> <br />San Francisco Creek, tributary to the Rio Grande. <br /> <br />4. Legal description of the stream segment through which <br />,an instream flow is claimed. <br /> <br />The natural stream channel from the conflu- <br />ence of the West Fork San Francisco Creek and <br />the Middle Fork San Francisco Creek at lati- <br />tude 37033'21"N and longitude 106023'38"W as <br />the upstream terminus and extending to the <br />U.S,G.S. Gage in the NE/4 SE/4, Sec. 36, <br />T39N, R5E, N.M.P.M., as the downstream termi- <br />nus, being a distance of approximately 2.3 <br />miles, This segment can be located on the <br />Horseshoe Mountain and Dog Mountain U.S.G.S. <br />quadrangles. <br /> <br />For the stream segments in an unsurveyed area, the <br />Division Engineer has determined for administrative <br />purposes that the approximate legal description of the <br />instream flow termini as protracted from U.S,G.S. <br />and/or U.S.F,S mapping is as follows: upstream termi- <br />nus in the SE/4 NW/4, Sec. 11, T38N, R5E, N.M.P.M. <br /> <br />5. Use of the water: <br /> <br />Instream flow to preserve the natural environment to a <br />reasonable degree. <br /> <br />6. Date of initiation of appropriation: <br /> <br />March 9, 1994. <br /> <br />7. The water was first applied to the above beneficial use <br />on March 9, 1994, by action of the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board under the provisions of C.R.S. (1990) ~~ 37-92-102(3), <br />37-92-103 (3), (4), (10). <br /> <br />8. Amount of <br />2.5 c. f. s.
