<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />headwaters in the vicinity of lat. 39 deg. 27'35"N, long. <br />105 deg. 54'51"W as the upstream terminus and extending to <br />the confluence with Middle Fork Swan River at lat. 39 deg. <br />29'48"N, long. 105 deg. 56'42"W as the downstream terminus, <br />being a distance of approximately 3.3 miles. This segment <br />can be located on the Boreas Pass U.S.G.S. quadrangle(s). <br /> <br />For administrative purposes only, the Division Engineer for <br />Water Division 5 has translated the segment thus described <br />into approximate protracted section, township, and range <br />locations from U.S.G.S. mapping as follows: Upstream <br />terminus in the NE/4 NW/4 S8 T75 R76W 6th P.M., more spe- <br />cifically at a point whence the NW corner of Sl T75 R77W <br />bears 561 ODE a distance of 13,250 ft.; downstream terminus <br />in the NW/4 5E/4 525 T6S R77W 6th P.M., more specifically <br />at a point whence the SW corner of S36 T6S R77W bears N22 <br />30E a distance of 7,175 ft. <br /> <br />c. (1) Date of initiation of appropriation: November 8, <br />1985. <br /> <br />(2) Date water applied to beneficial use: Water was first <br />applied to beneficial use on November 8, 1985, pursuant to <br />S 37-92-103(4), C.R.S. (1973). <br /> <br />(3) How appropriation was initiated: By applicant's <br />approval of its staff's final recommendations at a regu- <br />larly scheduled meeting, subsequent to having requested and <br />considered recommendations from the Division of Wildlife, <br />and the Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation. <br /> <br />d. Amount of water claimed: <br /> <br />Instream flow of 1.5 c.f.s. absolute. <br /> <br />4.a. Name of natural stream: Middle Fork Swan River. (Original <br />Case No. 85 CW 640) <br /> <br />b.
