(1973). <br /> <br />(3) How appropriation was initiated: By applicant's <br />approval of its staff's final recommendations at a regu- <br />larly scheduled meeting, subsequent to having requested and <br />considered recommendations from the Division of Wildlife, <br />and the Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation. <br /> <br />d. Amount of water claimed: <br /> <br />Instream flow of 20.0 c.f.s. (May 1 through Oct. 31); 10.0 <br />c.f.s. (Nov. 1 through Apr. 30), absolute. <br /> <br />13.a. Name of natural stream: West Tenmile Creek. (Original <br />Case No. 86 CW 205) <br /> <br />b. Location: <br /> <br />Legal description of the stream segment through which an <br />instream flow is claimed: The natural stream channel from <br />the confluence with Union Gulch at lat. 39 deg. 30'01"N, <br />long. 106 deg. 09'53"W as the upstream terminus and extend- <br />ing to the confluence with Tenmile Creek at lat. 39 deg. <br />30'34"N, long. 106 deg. 08'32"W as the downstream terminus, <br />being a distance of approximately 1.7 miles. This segment <br />can be located on the Vail Pass U.5.G.5. quadrangle(s). <br /> <br />For administrative purposes only, the Division Engineer for <br />Water Division 5 has translated the segment thus described <br />into approximate protracted section, township, and range <br />locations from U.5.G.5. mapping as follows: upper terminus <br />in the 5E/4 NE/4 529 T65 R79W 6th P.M.; more specifically <br />at a point whence the 5/4 corner of 533 T55 R78W bears S21 <br />OOW a distance of 25,100 ft; downstream terminus in the <br />5W/4 5W/4 520 T6S R78W 6th P.M., more specifically at a <br />point whence the 5/4 corner of 533 T55 R78W bears 510 OOW a <br />distance of 20,650 ft. <br /> <br />c.
