The water right herein is an appropriation of surface <br />waters of the State of Colorado, does not include any ground <br />water in the Ogallala Aquifer and shall not affect any diver- <br />sion of designated ground water included ~ithin the geo- <br />graphic boundaries of the Northern High Plains Designated <br />Grouno water Basin. Date af appropriation: September 10, 1975. <br />Water was first appl ied to beneficial use on Septemoer 10, <br />1975 pursuant to C.R.S. 1973, 37-92-103(4). <br /> <br />.Amount of water: 9.0 cubic' feet peT second absolute. <br /> <br />6. Use of water: This appropriation is made pur- <br />suant to C.R.S. 1973, 37-92-102(3) and 37-92-10~(3) and <br />(4). The purpose of this appropriation by the State of Colo- <br />rado is to insure the preservation of a minimum stream flow <br />in the North Fork of the Republican River to preserve the <br />natural environment to a reasonable degree. <br /> <br />7. Tne priority herein awarded was filed in the <br />water court in the year 1975 and shall be admi~istered as <br />havin9 been filed in that year; and shall be junior to all <br />priorities filed in previous years.
