The source ofthe water is: <br /> <br />East Middle Fork Parachute Creek, tributary to Parachute Creek. <br /> <br />4. <br />claimed. <br /> <br />Legal description of the stream segment through which an instream flow is <br /> <br />The natural stream channel from the confluence of Trapper Creek and Northwater <br />Creek at latitude 390 37' 20"N and longitude 108000' 42"W, (SW SW SEC 12, <br />T5S, R95W, 6th P.M.)(90 feet west of east section line of Section 12 and 415 feet <br />north of south section line of Section 12) as the upstream tenninus and extending <br />to the confluence of Corral Gulch at latitude 390 37' ll"N and longitude 108002' <br />22"W, (NW NE SEC 15, T5S, R95W, 6th P.M.)(2500 feet west of east section line <br />of Section 15 and 475 feet south of north section line Section 15) as the <br />downstream tenninus, being a distance of approximately 1.7 miles. This segment <br />can be located on the Forked Gulch U.S.G.S. quadrangle. <br /> <br />5. Use of the water: <br /> <br />Instream flow to preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree. <br /> <br />6. Date of initiation of appropriation: <br /> <br />January 26, 2000. <br /> <br />7. The water was first applied to the above beneficial use on January 26,2000, by <br />action of the Colorado Water Conservation Board under the provision of C.R.S. SS 37-92-102(3), <br />37-92-103(3), (4), (10). <br /> <br />8. Amount of water claimed (ABSOLUTE): Instream flow 01'5.7 c.f.s. (April 15 - <br />June 30); 1.6 c.f.s. (July I - August 31); 0.9 c.f.s. (September I - October 14); 0.5 c.f.s. <br />(October 15 - March 14); and 1.0 c.f.s (March 15 -April 14). <br /> <br />2 <br />
